Business Description
Crouchers Country Hotel in Chichester, West Sussex is an early 1900s farmhouse which has been converted to house 18 luxury bedrooms in the outside coach house and barn. Set just outside Chichester and its habour, the hotel provides new and exisiting customers with a calm, relaxing and comfortable environment for which enjoy either a few days away or time away from the office.
Project Description
Previously, Crouchers Country Hotel had built there own website in-house which was not providing them with the online viability they required within their local area. The website also remaining static which meant that updating it was difficult without the help of a technical mind. With all the new government legislation arriving on the scene, they also wanted to ensure their website was valid and accessible.
Solution
At the start of the project, Crouchers had just started a small re-brand on their company logo. Based on the clients requirements we therefore decided to implement a complete re-design and re-build of the website using Strict XHTML and CSS. The website was built with search engine optimisation in mind but we also had to ensure the aesthetic quality of the site was not jeopardised in any way.
Once the website was live we then agreed a search engine marketing strategy which would drive the website onto the search engines for key phrases such as ‘accommodation Chichester’ and hotel in Chichester’.
Result
6 months since the website launch and Crouchers Country Hotel have started to reach their online goal. Sitting on pages 1 and 2 of Google and MSN (among others) for both their main key phrases mentioned above, the hotel are now seeing some very positive feedback with enquires coming through on a daily basis. The online marketing campaign will continue for another 6 months to ensure they both improve their positions on Google and MSN even further as well as become visible on Yahoo and other major online search engines.
