Dike & Son

Business Description

The Dikes family opened their first family shop in 1851 in Stalbridge. This same shop was used for over 150 years, selling groceries and food to the local community.

In 2007, Dike & Son opened their new store - a flagship 22,000 sq ft store in Stalbridge, just up the road from the original shop. To accompany this benchmark in the history of the business, they needed a new website!

Project Description

Dike & Son approached us through our friends at Coconut Creatives as they had heard about the results we had been getting online for other food related suppliers like Olives Et Al and they wanted a piece of the action.

The brief was quite simple to be honest - design and build a professional yet approachable online face for Dike & Son that promotes the business, its products, location and family history.

Solution

We designed the new website to fit in perfectly with the new branding that Dike & Son had designed with their graphic designers

The new website is fully dynamic, meaning that each member of the Dike & Son team can update the website if they so wish - they do not have to keep asking us for changes, they can be done instantly and cost effectively.

Result

The new website allows end users to find out more about their new store. They can look into the history of Dike & Son, the products they stock, as well as looking a professionally taken photographs of the store.
