Business Description

Dungarees and Daisies have been trading for a number of years within the fabrics and quilting market place. With multiple selling platforms including their own eCommerce website as well as an eBay store, Dungarees and Daisies have grown their reputation and success online and were now in a position to take their online presence to a new level.

Dungarees and Daisies were also having a number of issues with their existing online providers and needed to be guided by a professional agency who were going to give them the one to one support and guidance they needed to restore their faith of the overall online marketing industry.

Dungarees and Daisies are a small and efficient company. Their need for an online eCommerce solution was not only to improve their online sales, but to also continue to improve internal process and procedures to ensure the overall sales project remained as efficient as possible.

Project Description

Dungarees and Daisies came to Strawberrysoup with a set budget for us to work with. Even though the budget did not stretch far enough for the fully functional StrawberrySystem eCommerce package, we were able to taylor our bespoke solution to not only fit the clients requirements but more importantly the available budget.

As a small company, the eCommerce solution needed to manage the sale process efficiently. From the automated online sale of products through to order fulfilment process including packing sheets and picking lists, the eCommerce solution gave Dungarees and Daisies the tools required to run their business with minimal resource requirement.

A small amount of bespoke functionality was required for the new Dungarees and Daisies website such as the ability for admin to change order fulfilment times based on product category and availability and also the ability for admin to display order fulfilment statuses on both the homepage and product detail pages. Dungarees and Daisies attend a number of events each month therefore required the ability to communicate order delivery times and statues on an ad hoc basis.

Solution

The overall solution has given Dungarees and Daisies a fresh approach to their online campaign and has provided them with a more flexible and stable platform upon which to run their business. The new design has given Dungarees and Daisies a professional visual appeal and the dynamic eCommerce functionality has given them the ability to manage their business their way without restrictions. Our ongoing monthly support package (StrawberrySupport) is going to give Dungarees and Daisies time each month to develop their website further and the newly build website is search engine optimised to assist search engine rankings which will have a direct impact on sales.
