Business Description

Fairfield House is a residential care home based in Lyme Regis, which provides a range of services and accommodation specifically designed to meet the needs of the elderly.

Project Description

Fairfield House had an existing outdated website which required redesigning and they were looking for a reliable and robust Content Management System (CMS) to independently manage and update the information that is displayed.

As a part of the re-branding fairfield wanted to display photos of the residential home and the services that they provide in a dynamic way to give a look and feel of the environment that the elderly will be staying in.

Solution

We choose to design a fresh and unique look and feel for Fairfield House's new website which integrated the logo throughout.

We decided that imagery was very important for this type of industry, and to increase conversions on the website we chose to display photos to give the end user an idea of the type of environment, so we created an animated flash banner for this purpose.

Due to the amount of information they are trying to display a simple and effective navigation structure will be required to ensure effective branding is achieved.

Result

A dynamic navigation was created to allow the end user to navigate through the site, with the most important sections and services clearly displayed and accessible from each page

A key feature of the website is a flash image banner was created displaying 4 different images at any one time. This ensures the site remains fresh and different each time it was visited the image animation started at a different point each time the page is loaded. this ensures people stayed longer on the site and branding space was not wasted on a static, repetitive banner.

Fairfield's new website is powered by StrawberrySystem, our bespoke CMS the website has a dynamic news module which is fully integrated into the website, the module allows all page information and images to be managed and controlled centrally from the CMS system.
