Business Description

Leopard Prints Photography specialise in breath-taking safari photography taken from Sir Richard Bransons nature reserve in South Africa. They take regular trips to Africa to ensure that they are constantly updating their photography portfolio.

Project Description

The client needed a reliable, affordable and robust platform by which they could sell their wildlife and safari photos online. The website and CMS needed to be easy to use and navigate by end users and the site needed to be linked to an online payment service provider.

Leopard Prints wanted a design that portrayed the Africa feel, whilst ensuring that the business looked professional and approachable.

Solution

We create a bespoke e-commerce website using our StrawberrySystem CMS. We took the core system and created a few custom modules for the image uploads, checkout facility and categorisation - which was unique to the website itself.

The website is hosted on Woofti to ensure maximum uptime, and uses a MySQL database to drive and organise all of the content. The final step was to integrate the site to a PSP (payment service provider) - and we chose PROTX.

The website was created following the latest accessibility guidelines and was tested on all of the most popular browsers and devices.

Result

The Leopard Prints website has gone from strength to strength. Interest in the photography has been steadily growing since the site launch and we wish the owners the best of luck!
