The Lighting Centre is a Guildford based business supplying unique and individual lighting products to the trade and general public in and around the south east of England. With over 25 years experience in the lighting industry, The Lighting Centre offer a range of product for the home and office including wall lights, outdoor lights, bathroom and bedroom lighting and much more. The Lighting Centre also offer many ranges of lighting styles from around the world including Italy and Germany.

Project Description

With the fall of the economic climate and the strive to continue business growth, The Lighting Centre wanted to extend their product offerings outside of Guildford and the south of England through the design and build of an eCommerce website. Showing existing and potential customers Lighting Centre products was proving more difficult as high street sales began to reduce. The most logical step was to borden the horizons and target customers on a national level.

Solution

Using our StrawberrySystem bespoke eCommerce platform, we designed and built The Lighting Centre website to not only promote and sell their products, but also to streamline their sales process and increase the awareness of the company across the UK. The Lighting Centre begin a fully integrated online marketing campaign in July this year and will continue to promote themselves online with Strawberrysoup into 2010 on onwards.

With the ability to provide promotional member discounts, offer voucher discounts on an adhoc basis and promote their products via a bespoke in-situ product photo gallery, The Lighting Centre now has the tools required to continue to provide the dedicated, full satisfaction service they have achieved for over 25 years.

Result

It's going to take a number of months to measure the success of the new Lighting Centre website, however based on initial feedback from both friends, family and existing clients of the Lighting Centre, we are off to a flying start. Strawberrysoup will continue to market the new website and will be measuring improvements in search engine rankings and sales over the next few months. A great achievement so far and we look forward to continuing our working relationship.
