Business Description

Resin Technical Systems is a specialist resin company that was started over 30 years ago to serve the up and coming electronics industry with a top quality service for encapsulation and potting using the latest resins available.

Project Description

Resintek needed a web design agency that would give them a new brochure website allowing them to promote their business services and offerings whilst at the same time create an e-commerce section which would allow them to sell their products online.

They approached us after searching Google and seeing some example websites in our portfolio. The new website needed to be updateable in-house and they wanted to administer each webpage, add new products, process orders online and accept online payments.

Solution

We chose to offer Resintek our StrawberrySystem content management system which would be used to store all page information, product information and payment data online. The CMS allows them to update their website whenever they wish without get us to do it each time, thus reducing their overall costs.

The website now consists of two sections - a brochure area which promotes their business and the e-commerce section (or "resinshop") which is where customers can browse a range of products, take orders online, accept payments via PROTX and update their products in-house.

Their website has been fully search engine optimised and works on a categorisation method ensuring that users can find what they are looking for quickly and easily.

Result

This new website gives Resintek a much more professional image online and ties in nicely with their new branding. Adding e-commerce functionality has simplified Resintek's sales and order process and ensures that costs are kept to a minimum.
