Business Description

Richard Doggett is a acupuncturist based on Chichester, West Sussex and Emsworth, Hampshire. Richard has a BSc Hons degree in acupuncture and is now a member of the governing body for Acupuncture in the UK, The British Acupuncture Council. Richard trained initially in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture in London, and then studied in Chengdu in China.

Project Description

The website is aimed to give clients the opportunity to learn about acupuncture and how it can help them. Acupuncture is often perceived in the wrong way due to a lack of knowledge and experience. Richard has been keen for some time to empower and encourage his clients into becoming knowledgeable so that they knew more about what acupuncture treatment could do for them. He therefore wanted a website to achieve this goal and give his existing and potential clients the information and security they needed to become informed when requesting and receiving treatment.

Solution

We looked to create a soothing atmospheric website using page specific generic banner pictures, soft colours, tones and fades. The website uses our bespoke content management system that allows Richard to add and remove multiple pages, text and images to the website content.

Due to Richard's keen goal to educate his clients, we developed Richard a BLOG to be able to spread his knowledge efficiently as well as a newsletter module so that his clients could signup online and he could begin to send email newsletters on an ah hoc basis.

Result

Richard is now keen to develop is online presence. The website has been built fully with optimisation in mind. Now that the website is live it will begin to climb up the rankings which will in tern provide Richard with the enquiries he wanted when developing the website. The website has been submitted to Google Local which will also improve visibility for richard online within the local and surrounding areas. There has already been some very constructive and positive feedback since the website went live and we look forward to assisting Richard, his website and his business overall in the years to come.
