Business Description

YourWhiteSpace is an independent art house based in Dorset. They aim to make high quality original art accessible to people from all walks of life. Art is the heart of their business and they aim to create art products that are unique, inspirational and highly collectable.

Project Description

YourWhiteSpace wanted an e-commerce that would allow them to sell their contemporary art online to consumers. They sell art to trade users also, however this is a mainly offline process.

In terms of the functionality, they wanted the whole purchase process to be as streamlined as possible, ensuring that users can see the art they produce quickly and easily, choose art that they would like to purchase and complete the transaction online with minimal input.

Solution

We created the e-commerce site in two parts really. The first part is the homepage, which is well laid out, and pleasing to the eye with example room shots of what the art would look like on the wall.

The second part was the artwork display, which was designed to be fast loading, but also display the art in such a way that users can scroll through the selection easily.

The website is fully search engine optimised, meaning that it can be read easily by the search engines and the code is valid.
