Due to the nature of our business, we develop many different eCommerce websites for clients. We understand how to design, develop and test fantastic websites, but we wanted to know more about the retail side to an eCommerce business. How do we manage stock, choose well performing products, deal with couriers, build a dedicated consumer base? - so we launched Dennis and McGregor.

We love design, art, interiors and beautifully designed products, so this website is the perfect route for us to discover new products and sell them to likeminded consumers.

Being a new contender in this market was not easy. We had to think very carefully about how our website should be marketed online; was it just going to be another website selling products, or a source of information, trends and discussion? How should its personality be portrayed? As well as this, there are many websites that sell products cheaper from a pricing perspective, so our market positioning had to be calculated carefully.

The website launched on 1st December 2009 and by March 2010, the website’s turnover had exceeded the development cost. The business is currently growing at 200% month on month and we have some very exciting partnership plans for the future.
