Mark Perkins

Mark is a relative newcomer to the Chichester area, having been born and schooled in South London. He left to study Oceanography at the University of Southampton in 2001 and after some time working abroad he has now settled down as a web designer and developer for Strawberrysoup.

He is a keen a surfer and windsurfer, and in his spare time helps to run the EcoSurf Project, a small non-profit organisation that is working to promote environmental best practices in the surf industry.

Marks main interest lies in front-end web development and user interface design, and he regards the use of web standards and strict coding practices as absolutely essential in ensuring that websites are both accessible and stand the test of time.

“If you cut corners when building a website it will always come back to haunt you. We concentrate on doing things right first time so our clients don’t have to worry about problems later on down the line.”
