Seagate launch new 'living logo'
This week at CES 2015, data storage company Seagate have launched a brand refresh including a new ‘living logo’ alongside a range of new products.
This new dynamic logo is made up of a stream of images aiming to tell “an infinite number of visual stories’. The photos are currently supplied by Getty Images, who Seagate have partnered with for this idea, and currently a patent is pending for the concept which they hope to license to other organisations.
You can see and play with the living logo on their website, where you can zoom in to see the images in the stream.
It’s a cool and interesting concept and works well for the data brand – if only as a fun, brand building gimmick.
We first saw this on Design Week.
