Strawberrysoup launches dssmove
Our team has been involved in this project from the outset, with our designers working closely with the client to research and analyse the market, design the brand identity and create the user interface. Our development team have built a completely bespoke system (with over 335,000 lines of code!) integrating key features for the best experience for both tenants and agents.
The website answers a constant struggle to find agents or landlords willing to let to DSS tenants, while integrating a number of features to help create a positive property search experience. Users can use the benefit calculator to calculate housing benefit entitlement based on the number of people and Local Housing Allowance rates, and then go on to search for available properties by area, price range and property type. Property pages make use of Google to include a street map view and a ‘What’s nearby?’ feature showing the nearest utilities such as schools, doctors, hospitals, supermarkets and bus stops. The tenant dashboard allows users to keep track of their searches, favourite properties and benefit calculations.
Many letting agents and landlords don’t realise that the DSS market is actually a very worthwhile audience to target. dssmove aims to alter this perception and encourage more agents to target DSS tenants. The agent dashboard allows letting agents and landlords to manage their properties online, receive enquiries and view traffic statistics while gaining business exposure on the website.
Over the coming months, dssmove will be working hard to get more agents on board & properties listed for across the UK. We’re looking forward to watching this business take off and continuing to work with them on site updates and additions.
We’d love for you to check out the new dssmove website and let us know what you think!
