Visualising computer usage

There seems to be a new infographic every couple of weeks showing us how we’re spending more and more time on computers, the Internet, our mobile, Facebook, with cute little pictures to make statistics look more interesting and fun.

This project ‘Every Day of My Life’ by polish artist Marcin Ignac is an interesting and intriguing visual representation of the time spent on a computer. Different colours represent data of running apps, mouse clicks and keyboard use over the past two and a half years, with the black spaces showing the time the computer was turned off.
